We are thrilled to announce that Growth Partners Arizona has been chosen as the fund manager for the EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program in Cochise County. This collaboration is a significant milestone in promoting economic development and environmental health in our community. The program offers low-interest loans and grants to facilitate the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfield sites, enhancing economic growth and community well-being.
The Cochise County EPA RLF program aims to transform contaminated properties into valuable community assets. By providing accessible financing, this initiative will support projects addressing environmental challenges while promoting sustainable development.
“I’m excited to launch the Cochise County EPA Revolving Loan Fund program in partnership with Growth Partners Arizona,” said Dan Coxworth, AICP Director of Cochise County Development Services. “This program empowers economic development and environmental cleanup projects throughout our community. By offering accessible financing, we foster innovation and development that benefit our economy and environment. We are paving the way for a prosperous future in Cochise County.”
Cochise County, home to vibrant communities like Benson, Bisbee, Douglas, and Willcox, has a rich cultural history. The RLF program will unlock the potential of over 28% of the county’s currently vacant or underutilized land. By providing financial support for cleanup and redevelopment projects, this initiative will rejuvenate these areas, transforming them into thriving, sustainable spaces that honor their rich past while securing a prosperous future.
As the fund manager, Growth Partners Arizona will play a key role in administering the RLF program. Their expertise in community-focused financial management will ensure effective deployment and oversight of funds, aligning projects with environmental and economic goals.
“We are honored to be selected as the fund manager for the Cochise County EPA Revolving Loan Fund program,” said Andre T. Whittington, Executive Director of Growth Partners Arizona. “This partnership is a unique opportunity to drive sustainable economic growth while addressing critical environmental issues. We look forward to working closely with the community to ensure the success of this transformative program.”
We invite property owners, developers, and community members to participate actively in this transformative journey. Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier, and more economically vibrant Cochise County.
