Phoenix, AZ — Growth Partners Arizona is proud to announce the appointment of Judie Scalise as its new Board Chair. Scalise succeeds Evelyn Casuga, whose steady leadership has helped guide the organization through a period of transformational growth and impact.
“I am deeply honored to serve as Board Chairman of Growth Partners Arizona,” said Scalise. “Our state’s nonprofits and small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and Growth Partners plays a critical role in ensuring they have access to the capital they need to thrive. I’m committed to working alongside our exceptional board and staff to expand our impact, strengthen the inclusive lending and advisory services that set us apart, and continue empowering Arizona’s entrepreneurs and community organizations to build a more equitable economic future for all.”
The organization also extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing Board Chair Evelyn Casuga for her years of service and leadership.
“It has been an honor to serve as past chair and board member of Growth Partners Arizona (GPAZ) since 2018,” said Casuga. “Through strong partnerships, GPAZ has built a solid foundation supporting small businesses and nonprofits across Arizona with capital and technical assistance, and with new leadership in place, the organization is well-positioned for continued success.”
Under Casuga’s tenure, Growth Partners Arizona strengthened its ecosystem partnerships, expanded access to responsible capital, and reinforced its role as a trusted partner for historically excluded entrepreneurs and community organizations statewide.
With Judie Scalise’s appointment, Growth Partners Arizona looks ahead to its next chapter with a clear focus on delivering boldly for Arizona’s small businesses and nonprofits
